Target Corp. this week began holding a 30 percent off game sale for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, and Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo DS in a new summer game sale.

Titles price cut by 30 percent include Max Payne 3 at $41.99, NCAA Football 13 at $41.99, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier at $41.99 and Cars 2 (Nintendo DS) at $17.49.

Video game sales fell 20 percent from one year prior to $548.4 million in the U.S. according to NPD Group Inc.

Hardware sales fell 32 percent to $150.7 million from one year ago.
