Microsoft Corp. this week said begin to sell Microsoft Surface tablets on Oct. 26 to coincide with the launch of Windows 8.
Microsoft Surface includes 10.6-inch Gorilla Glass screen, HDMI, USB 3.0, front and rear cameras, kickstand, and 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi antennas.
In addition, the product can be used with a magnet-based Touch Cover, which includes a built-in keyboard and multi-touch trackpad.
Surface for Windows RT will be sold in 32 and 64GB SKUs and priced like comparable ARM-based CPU tablets.
Surface for Windows 8 Pro will be sold in 64GB and 128GB SKUs priced comparable to ultrabooks. It is scheduled to be sold three months after the launch of Windows 8.
