Inc. this week price cut Nintendo Co.’s Steel Diver for the Nintendo 3DS to under $5.00 in a new sale.

This week, Steel Diver holds a discount price of $4.99, 88 percent off the $29.99 MSRP.

Steel Diver is a submarine simulation game that served as a launch title for the Nintendo 3DS last Mar.

The Nintendo 3DS sold 1.9 million units in the first quarter, an increase from 710,000 units the year prior at a $249 launch price. The handheld has sold 19 million units to date.

The company in Aug. will sell the Nintendo 3DS XL, which includes a 4.88-inch main display, 90 percent larger the current Nintendo 3DS, and a 4GB SD card. It will hold an MSRP of $199.99.
