Ubisoft Inc. this week said ports of current next-generation titles to Nintendo Co.’s Wii U platform require minimal investment by the third-party publisher.

Company CEO Yves Guillemont this week said the five out of seven titles to be sold at launch require a small reinvestment.

Additionally, the company’s two original titles for Wii U – ZombiU and Rayman Legends, were said to require much less investment than major franchise titles.

The Wii U is scheduled to be released in 2012.
