Bioware Corp. this week released the Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut DLC to Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360, and PC June 26.
The Extended Cut DLC is available now at no cost and is said to contain additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes to provide context and clarity to the ending.
It requires 1.9GB of storage.
Post release of Mass Effect 3, users complained about the title’s ending, which did not contain choices to affect the outcome and did not explain the whereabouts of certain characters.
The developer will offer additional DLC for the title at a later date.
Developed by Bioware Corp., Mass Effect 3 is a sci-fi action RPG with third-person shooter action and melee kills.
The Mass Effect 3 Collector’s Edition includes a premium metal case, 70-page hardbound art book, limited edition Mass Effect comic, premium N7 patch, and a collection of in-game content at $79.99.
The title has shipped 3.5 million units to global territories.
