Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita increased in the latest Japan retail figures.
The PS Vita sold 7,551 units between May 28 and June 3 to rank as the No. 4 hardware for the week.
By comparison, the hardware sold 6,675 the week prior.
The PS Vita did not rank any software titles in the top 10.
Meanwhile, the PSP sold 10,547 units to rank No. 3 in the same period.
The PS Vita, which began sale Feb. 22 in the U.S., is sold in a Wi-Fi only model at $249.99 and a 3G model at $299.99.
