Sony Corp. this week demonstrated Sports Champions 2 for the Playstation 3 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The boxing demo required the use of two Move controllers to facilitate left and right hits. The two virtual gloves moved in sync with the controls and utilized momentum to deliver harder hits. Users could move both sticks towed the face or the stomach to block.

The skiing demo used two Move controllers to act as two ski poles that could be swiped to start and lowered to gain speed. A tilt of each controller controlled movement in a decent fashion.

Motion tracking was decent in each activity and similar to the prior entry.

The Playstation Move title will include brand new sports activities from skiing, tennis, boxing, golf, bowling, and updated archery.

Modes include Cup Play, Free Play, and Challenge rounds.

The final game will not require Playstation Move calibration, new player avatars, new profile system, and an all-new Party Play mode.
