Sony Corp. this week demonstrated Orgarhythm for the Playstation Vita at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The demo was a unique music based strategy title that required players to protect a commander using surrounding soldiers. The player can deploy red, yellow or blue soldiers in coordination with the beat of the track.

All buttons to deploy soldiers and actions are constantly pulsating to the beat to add extra point and level build with each perfect tap. Once a soldier and action is selected the user must trace a line to direct troops which will automatically begin their attack.

Developed by Neilo, Orgarhythm will be published by XSEED Games in 2012.

The PS Vita, which began sale Feb. 22 in the U.S., is sold in a Wi-Fi only model at $249.99 and a 3G model at $299.99.
