Nintendo Co. this week demonstrated Wii Fit U for the Wii U at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Core Luge requires users to sit on the Wii Balance Board and tilt left and right to balance through a downhill course. The Wii GamePad is set up in front of the user to detect arm wave motions to gain speed at the start of the race.

The activity provided a strong core exercise with users required to lean to gain speed. The course held a decent difficulty and subsequently moves in very high speeds should the player not crash.

The graphics engine held at 60 frames-per-second with simple Mii character and track rendering in high-definition.

The Wii U will be released in 2012.
