Sony Corp. this week said Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will include Cross-Play functionality between the Playstation 3 and the Playstation Vita.

The company demonstrated a point-based versus mode to be found in the final game.

Two new characters to be included in the title are Nathan Drake from the Uncharted franchise and Big Daddy from Bioshock.

The final game will include Cross-Save functionality to save the title on one platform and continue on another.

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will feature trademark characters from Playstation franchises, including Parappa the Rapper, Kratos from God of War, Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, Col. Radec from Killzone, and Fat Princess.

Each character will have a specific skill set to represent their history and background in the Playstation universe.

Environments in the final game include Dreamscape from LittleBigPlanet, Sandover from Jak & Daxter, Hades from God of War, and Metropolis from Ratchet & Clank.

The title is in development at SuperBot Entertainment. The final game will include two vs. two and four-player matches, in addition to a single-player mode.
