EA Inc. this week released the trailer for the Battlefield 3 Premium membership for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 and the PC.
The trailer includes an overview of the premium package, including expansion packs, exclusive items and more.
Battlefield 3 Premium, to be sold June 4, will include five themed expansion packs, early access to all future expansion packs, unique in-game items, the ability to reset stats, queue priority into servers, and new decals for a one-time fee of $49.99.
In addition, the service will offer members-only events, strategy guides, and videos from DICE.
Battlefield 3 Premium follows the release of Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Elite service, which has registered seven million members post launch in Nov. 2011.
Battlefield 3, released Oct. 24, includes the Frostbite 2 engine, online vehicle warfare with land, sea, and air vehicles, and combat across the U.S., Europe, and Middle East.
The title has sold 12 million units to date.
