Inc. this week said pre-order sales for Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 and the PC are ten times that of Call of Duty: Black Ops.

The retailer said this week pre-order sales for Black Ops 2 was more than ten times the amount of pre-orders for Black Ops in the first day of availability and more than 30 percent that of 2011’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, to be sold Nov. 13, will include a brand new single-player campaign and multiplayer functionality.

Locations previewed in the title include Los Angeles and a mission set in Afghanistan in which users must ride horseback.

The final game will include new Strike Force missions that affect the story and the Zombies multiplayer mode.

The PS3, Xbox 360, and PC SKUs sell at a pre-order price of $59.99 each. Inc. is offering an exclusive wallpaper with the pre-order purchase of the product.
