Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment this week released Mortal Kombat for Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the title builds upon the 2011 release with original game content and new features.

Mortal Kombat, released in 2011, is a reboot of the classic fight franchise with new fatalities, x-ray moves, and a 2-D fighting plane.

The PS Vita, which began sale Feb. 22 in the U.S., is sold in a Wi-Fi only model at $249.99 and a 3G model at $299.99.
