Activision Blizzard Inc. may release Call of Duty: Black Ops II for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 in Nov. according to reservation cards to be sold at Target Corp. stores.
IGN this week reported reservation cards for the title to be sold at Target disclaim a Nov. 13 release date for the sequel.
Developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, will be the follow-up to Call of Duty: Black Ops released in 2010.
Activision Blizzard has not confirmed the title’s release.
The publisher has issued DLC Content Drops to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to expand the 2011 release.
The title grossed $1 billion in sales in two months post release.
