Capcom Co. this week released a demo of Dragon’s Dogma to the Playstation Network division of Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and the Xbox Live division of Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360.
The demo includes two character classes, including the melee specialist Fighter and the nimble Strider in two challenges.
In addition, users can create a custom character and Main Pawn that can be transferred to the full game.
Dragon’s Dogma, to be sold May 22 in the U.S. and May 25 in Europe, is a new action title that includes combat in a large, open world.
The final game includes three interactive AI partners called Pawns that build ability dependant on player actions. Users can share Pawns with friends online and borrow Pawns to utilize specific skills for a particular task.
Dragon’s Dogma will include a token to download the Resident Evil 6 demo. It will be available July 3 in the Xbox Live division and Sept. 4 in the Playstation Network division.
