Nintendo Co. this week said it will release the Kirby Anniversary Collection to the Wii hardware later this year.

The Kirby Anniversary Collection celebrates the 20th anniversary of the character with a compilation of previously released Kirby titles.

Nintendo in Oct. 2011 released Kirby’s Return to Dreamland for the Wii.

Nintendo in Jan. lowered its full-year forecast due to a strong yen and weakened demand for game hardware.

The company estimated a full year net loss of 65 billion yen ($838 million), compared to a loss of 20 billion yen.

The Wii holds a global install base of 51 million units.

Nintendo will release Wii U, the successor the Wii hardware, in 2012.
