Retailer Inc. this week discounted select PC game downloads in EA Inc.’s Battlefield franchise by up to 75 percent in a new spring initiative.

This week, select Battlefield PC titles are discounted by up to 75 percent off, including Battlefield 3 at $29.99, Battlefield 2 Complete Collection at $4.99, and Battlefield Bad Company 2 at $4.99.

Battlefield 3, the newest entry in the franchise, includes the Frostbite 2 engine, online vehicle warfare with land, sea, and air vehicles, and combat across the U.S., Europe, and Middle East.

The title sold five million units in the first week of availability.

EA in June will release the Battlefield 3: Close Quarters DLC. The DLC will include multiplayer maps with tight and vertical construction.

Future DLC drops include Armored Kill for large-scale combat and End Game.
