Retailer Inc. this week price cut Sony Corp.’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception for the Playstation 3 to under $40 amid release of new gameplay patches for the title.

This week, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception holds a discount price of $39.96, 33 percent off the $59.99 MSRP.

Developer Naughty Dog Inc. this week released two new patches that provide gameplay, technical and user interface updates.

Patches 1.08 and 1.09 include the ability to vote on co-op difficulty at any part of the menu, DLC Toggle added to Options Menu, weapon adjustments, and new server-side function to live update weapon functionality.

In addition, all cinema files pre patch 1.09 are no longer accessible.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception began sale Nov. 11, 2011.

It includes a brand new epic campaign mode in a search for the ‘Atlantis of the Sands’ to include locations like a derelict chateau in France, to the merciless Arabian Dessert.

Sony in Dec. said the Uncharted franchise has sold 13 million units worldwide to date.

In Feb., it released the Fort Co-op Adventure allows users to play as Uncharted villains for the first time.
