Sales for Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita increased 15 percent in the latest Japan retail figures.
The PS Vita sold 12,105 units between Mar. 26 and Apr. 1 to rank as the No. 4 hardware for the week.
By comparison, the hardware sold 10,302 the week prior.
Konami Corp.’s Pro Baseball Spirits 2012 ranked No. 11 upon release in the region.
Meanwhile, the PSP sold 18,356 units to rank third in the same period.
The PS Vita, which began sale Feb. 22 in the U.S., is sold in a Wi-Fi only model at $249.99 and a 3G model at $299.99.
