Target Corp. stores this week price cut Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 console to under $250 in addition to offering a bonus credit with purchase of the product.
Through Mar. 24, customers can purchase the Xbox 360 250GB console at $249.99, $50 off the $299.99 MSRP.
In addition, the retailer is offering a $25 Gift Card with purchase of the product.
Microsoft in Jan. said the Entertainment and Devices, which includes the Xbox business, held a 15 percent increase in second quarter earnings.
The division held revenue of $4.24 billion, a 15 percent increase from the year prior.
In the past fiscal year, 8.2 million Xbox 360 units were sold.
The hardware has sold 66 million units worldwide to date.
