Pre-order sales for LucasArts Inc.’s Kinect Star Wars for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox increased this week amid building demand.
This week, Kinect Star Wars held a 295 percent increase to rank at No. 25 in Amazon’s Video Games division.
It previously ranked at No. 91.
Kinect Star Wars, to be sold Apr. 3, will include Jedi battles and vehicle piloting with gesture-based controls.
In addition, Microsoft will sell the limited edition Xbox 360 Limited Edition Star Wars Kinect Bundle.
The bundle will include a R2-D2 blue-and-white themed 320GB console, custom Xbox 360 Wireless Controller inspired by C-3PO, white Kinect sensor, Kinect Star Wars game at $449.99.
