Namco Bandai Games America Inc. this week said Armored Core V for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 has been approved for manufacturing for shipment to U.S. retail Mar. 20.

Developed by FromSoftware Inc., Armored Core V, to be sold Mar. 20, will include team-based online multiplayer battles, online co-op functionality, and offline mode.

In addition, the title is said to allow users to utilize geography to maximize mech attacks.

Multiplayer options include 1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 1, or 5 vs. 5 battles.

In addition, users can opt to act as the team operator to deploy radars and weaknesses of rival ACs.

Finally, users can conquer territory on a map to build defenses like gun batteries and customize team data.

The final game will include the new Operator Mode designates a leader role to one player to supply teammates with enemy positions, movements and details.
