Target Corp. this week began offering a $20 credit with the purchase of Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS in a new sales initiative.
Through Mar. 10, customers who purchase the Nintendo 3DS will receive a $20 Gift Card at no additional cost.
Nintendo in Dec. said the Nintendo 3DS has sold more than 4 million units in Japan.
The hardware has sold more than four million units in the U.S.
Nintendo launched the Nintendo 3DS handheld with 18 software titles Mar. 27.
The hardware includes two screens, a 3D Depth Slider, a Circle Pad, a 2GB SD Card and 3-D display technology that does not require the use of special glasses.
