Ubisoft Inc. this week said the company held revenue of $878.9 million in the third quarter ending Dec. 31, an increase of 8.8 percent from the year prior.
In addition, it will release Assassin’s Creed III for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 to U.S. retail Oct. 30.
The title will feature an all-new protagonist to follow franchise veteran Ezio Auditore.
Ubisoft this week said it sold seven million copies of Assassin’s Creed Revelations in Q3.
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, released in Nov. 2011, is the final installment to feature Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
It includes upgraded weapons and abilities, all-new online characters in multiplayer mode, and a bonus spin-off game.
