GameStop Corp. this week price cut Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS by $20 pending release of Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita.
This week customers can purchase the Nintendo 3DS at GameStop stores at $149.99, $20 off the $169.99 MSRP.
The Nintendo 3DS has sold four million units in the U.S. Nintendo price cut the handheld to $169.99 from $249.99 in Aug. 2011.
The PS Vita will be sold in the U.S Feb. 22.
The handheld will launch simultaneously in Europe, Canada and Latin America the same day.
The Wi-Fi only model will sell at $249.99. The 3G model will sell at $299.99.
This week, customers who pre-order the PS Vita 3G / Wi-Fi SKU will receive $55 in bonus content, including an 8GB Memory Card, DataConnect Session Pass and a Playstation Network game.
