Microsoft Corp. this week released Bullet Asylum in the ‘Must Have Games’ initiative for the Windows Phone Games Marketplace.
Bullet Asylum is an arcade shooter that includes classic gameplay, next-generation graphics, and touch-based shooting functionality.
It sells at $2.99.
The ‘Must Have Games’ initiative, which began in Feb., launches a wave of new mobile game titles to Windows Phone each week.
Future titles include Chicken’s Can’t Fly Feb. 15 at $2.99, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction Feb. 22 at $4.99, and Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp Feb. 29 at $2.99.
Microsoft released Windows Phone 7.5 Mango in Sept. 2011, which added more than 500 new features to the platform.
Windows Phone held 1.4 percent U.S. market share in Q4 2011, according to The Nielsen Company.
