Retailer Inc. this week began offering a $50 Bonus with the purchase of Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle in a new hardware promotion.

This week, customers who purchase the Xbox 360 4GB with Kinect bundle will receive a $50 Gift Card at no additional cost.

Microsoft in Jan. said the Entertainment and Devices division, which includes the Xbox business, held a 15 percent increase in second quarter earnings.

The division held revenue of $4.24 billion, a 15 percent increase from the year prior.

Xbox Live paid subscribers increased 33 percent to total 40 million members.

In the past fiscal year, 8.2 million Xbox 360 units were sold. The hardware has sold 66 million units worldwide to date.
