Microsoft Corp. this week said will launch the ‘Must Have Games’ initiative to the Windows Phone Games Marketplace this Feb.
Beginning Feb. 1, the ‘Must Have Games’ initiative will launch a wave of new mobile game titles to Windows Phone each week.
Titles include EA Inc.’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Feb. 1 at $4.99, BulletAsylum Feb. 8 at $2.99, Chicken’s Can’t Fly Feb. 15 at $2.99, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction Feb. 22 at $4.99, and Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp Feb. 29 at $2.99.
Microsoft released Windows Phone 7.5 Mango in Sept. 2011, which added more than 500 new features to the platform.
Windows Phone held 1.4 percent U.S. market share in Q4 2011, according to The Nielsen Company.
