Sony Corp.’s Playstation Vita this week ranked in the top 10 ‘Most Wished For’ products at Inc.

This week, the PS Vita ranked as the No. 7 ‘Most Wished For’ product in Amazon’s Video Games division.

Strong interest in the handheld at the online retailer is a positive note following a weaker-than-expected launch in Japan last Dec.

The hardware, which has sold more than 500,000 units in Japan, has held a weekly sales decline in the territory since launch.

The PS Vita will be sold in the U.S Feb. 22 in a Wi-Fi SKU at $249.99 and a 3G SKU at $299.99.

The handheld will launch simultaneously in Europe, Canada and Latin America the same day.

The PS Vita will include dual analog sticks, a 5-inch multi-touch OLED display, 3G & GPS, front and rear touch panels, and a compass on three axes. It will utilize flash-memory game cards.

First-party launch titles include Escape Plan, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, Little Deviants, ModNation Racers: Road Trip, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Wipeout 2048.

Key third-party launch titles include EA Inc.’s EA Sports FIFA Soccer, Ubisoft Inc.’s Lumines Electronic Symphony, Namco Bandai Games America Inc.’s Touch My Katamari, Capcom Co.’s Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Sega Corp.’s Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition.
