Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Bethesda Softworks’ The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 ranked as the top Xbox Live titles in the latest activity data.
This week, Microsoft said Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ranked as the No. 1 Xbox Live title for the week of Jan. 16 based on unique users.
Call of Duty: Black Ops ranked second, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim ranked third, EA Inc.’s FIFA 12 ranked fourth and Battlefield 3 ranked at No. 5 in the same period.
Modern Warfare 3, released Nov. 7, includes new locations like New York, London and Paris, in addition to several lead characters.
The final game includes competitive and co-op online multiplayer options.
Activision in Jan. released new Modern Warfare 3 DLC to Call of Duty: Elite Premium Members.
