Sony Corp. this week demonstrated Gravity Rush for the Playstation Vita at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV.

The demonstration build allowed users to battle a giant floating boss using the gyroscope feature of the hardware.

Users could execute a flight mode to hover in the air then proceed to tilt the PS Vita to view the level, find the enemy, then deploy a flying kick attack.

At times the gyroscope function forced users to tilt the hardware at an angle where the screen became less visible, though users can employ standard right analog stick controls, or disable flight mode to regain a better fight position.

Gravity Rush is a third-person action title to be released in May.

The PS Vita will be sold in a Wi-Fi SKU and 3G model Feb. 22 in the U.S.
