Activision Blizzard Inc. this week said it will release nine consecutive months of download content to Call of Duty Elite premium members in the Modern Warfare 3 Content Season program .
Beginning Jan. 24, the publisher will release nine consecutive months of content downloads, including new multiplayer maps Liberation and Piazza to Call of Duty Elite members via Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Live online service.
Content drops will take place between Jan. and Sept., with at least 20 pieces of content.
The Content Season program will deliver a range of download content, from multiplayer maps to Special Ops missions to new game modes.
A third drop will occur in mid-Feb. with a fourth in mid-Mar.
The content will be released to other platforms at a later date.

Modern Warfare 3 Content Season is co-developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software.
