Sony Corp. this week demonstrated Uncharted: Golden Abyss for the Playstation Vita at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV.
The Uncharted: Golden Abyss preview demo began with Nathan Drake trapped in a room that requires platforming skills to exit.
Users can employ traditional control methods to jump and hop onto ledges or use new touch controls to simply tap on the next ledge and see Drake automatically leap to the subsequent point.
Controls were solid with the PS Vita hardware with dual analog sticks, face buttons, and triggers for a console-like experience.
The preview version held exceptional graphics at 30 frames-per-second. Fire effects burned an orange hue around the area, which looked near the level of recent Uncharted titles for the Playstation 3.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss will be sold Feb. 22 as a launch title for the PS Vita.
