Best Buy Co. Inc. this week began offering a $20 credit with the purchase of Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS handheld in a new Jan. promotion.

Through Jan. 14, customers who purchase the Nintendo 3DS will receive a $20 Gift Card at no additional cost.

Nintendo in Jan. said sales for the Nintendo 3DS have passed four million units in the U.S.

The company said the Nintendo 3DS has sold more units in the first nine months of sale than the best-selling Wii console.

New titles to be sold in Q1 include Capcom Co.’s Resident Evil: Revelations (Feb. 6), Kid Icarus: Uprising (Mar. 23), and Konami Corp.’s Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater (Q1).
