Capcom Co. this week released the Triple Impact Trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360.
The Triple Impact Trailer includes the Umbrella Security Services Team entering Raccoon City to remove evidence before encountering the Raccoon City Police Department and Spec-Ops soldiers which aim to expose Umbrella.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be sold Mar. 20, 2012 to U.S. retail.
A PC version is said to follow the console release.
Developed by Capcom and Slant 6 Games, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a third-person team-based shooter set between events in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3.
In the game, users take on the role of an Umbrella Security Services soldier to destroy all evidence of an outbreak and eliminate survivors.
The final game will include four-player co-op functionality and competitive online multiplayer modes between Umbrella Security Service, US Special Ops, and zombies and B.O.W enemies.
The Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Limited Edition will include the Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City game, Steelbook with exclusive art, foil sleeve, Umbrella Security Service embroidered patch, Spec Ops Field Unit embroidered patch, and eight bonus weapons at $69.99.
