Toys R Us Inc. stores this week began selling Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS with a bonus credit in a New Year’s sale.

Through Jan. 7, customers who purchase the Nintendo 3DS will receive a $10 Gift Card at no additional cost.

Nintendo in Dec. said the Nintendo 3DS has sold nearly 2.5 million units in the U.S.

New titles to be sold in Q1 include Capcom Co.’s Resident Evil: Revelations (Feb. 6), Kid Icarus: Uprising (Mar. 23), and Konami Corp.’s Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater (Q1).

Nintendo launched the Nintendo 3DS handheld with 18 software titles Mar. 27.
