Target Corp. this week held Microsoft Corp.’s Kinect for the Xbox 360 at under $100 in the beginning of the New Year’s sales period.

This week, the Kinect sensor holds a discount price of $99.99, $50 off the $149.99 MSRP.

Microsoft in Dec. said it sold 750,000 Kinect sensors were sold in bundle and stand-alone configurations during Black Friday week.

In addition, the Xbox 360 hardware ranked as the top-selling console in U.S. Nov. sales in data by NPD Group Inc.
