This week, customers can purchase select video game titles and peripherals at discount prices, including Duke Nukeum Forever at $9.96, L.A. Noire at $29.96, Deus Ex: Human Revolution at $29.96, uDraw Tablet with SpongeBob Squigglepants and uDraw Studio at $59.96, and Brunswick Pro Bowling at $19.96.
Meanwhile, Amazon.com Inc. this week is holding a Games and Gear Sale that discounts select games and peripherals by at least 50 percent.
Video Game sales in Nov. totaled $3 billion in the U.S. according to data firm NPD Group Inc.
Software sales increased 16 percent while hardware sales decreased nine percent in the same period.
Top-selling titles include Activision Blizzard Inc.’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Bethesda’s Softworks The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
