Sony Corp. this week said the Playstation Vita will launch with 25 titles from first and third-party studios in Feb.
First-party launch titles include Escape Plan, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, Little Deviants, ModNation Racers: Road Trip, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Wipeout 2048.
Key third-party launch titles include EA Inc.’s EA Sports FIFA Soccer, Ubisoft Inc.’s Lumines Electronic Symphony, Namco Bandai Games America Inc.’s Touch My Katamari, Capcom Co.’s Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Sega Corp.’s Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition.
Additional launch window titles include Tecmo Koei Corp.’s Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, Ridge Racer, NIS America Inc.’s Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention, and Konami Digital Entertainment America Inc.’s Silent Hill Book of Memories.
Titles will be priced from $9.99 to $49.99.
Launch peripherals include a Starter Kit WITH 4GB Memory Card, Pocket Pouch, Protective Film, Card Case, Headphones, and Cleaning Cloth at $39.99, 4GB Memory Card at $19.99, and Portable Charger at $49.99.
The Playstation Vita will be sold Feb. 22 in the U.S in a Wi-Fi SKU at $249.99 and a 3G SKU at $299.99.
It features dual analog sticks, a 5-inch multi-touch OLED display, 3G & GPS, front and rear touch panels, and a compass on three axes. It will utilize flash-memory game cards.
The Playstation Vita First Edition Bundle will be sold Feb. 15.
