Namco Bandai Holding Inc. this week said it will release Tekken 3D Prime Edition to Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS in the U.S. Feb. 14.
Tekken 3D Prime Edition is said to include more than 40 fighters, new stages, 60 frames-per-second graphics, StreetPass functionality, and Wi-Fi functionality.
The final game will include the Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D Movie in stereoscopic 3D.
The Nintendo 3DS has sold nearly 2.5 million units in the U.S.
The Nintendo 3DS in Nov. sold 795,000 units, a 215 percent increase over the previous month.
Nintendo launched the Nintendo 3DS handheld with 18 software titles Mar. 27.
The hardware includes two screens, a 3D Depth Slider, a Circle Pad, a 2GB SD Card and 3-D display technology that does not require the use of special glasses.
