Archos this week said it will sell a tablet that includes Google Inc.’s Android Honeycomb OS at $199.

The Archos 70b Internet Tablet will include the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, a 1.2GHz CPU, 7-inch 1024 x 600 capacitive touch screen, 8GB storage, 512MB RAM, 3D Graphics Accelerator, Wi-Fi functionality, HDMI output and Micro SD connectivity.

It will be sold in Jan at an MSRP of $199.

The price point matches Inc.’s 7-inch Kindle Fire tablet, and is priced $50 under Barnes and Noble Inc.’s $249 Nook Tablet.
