Sony Corp. this week apologized to Japanese customers for wait times to the Playstation Vita information center and customer service line after reports of troubleshoot issues post launch of the hardware in Japan.

The company this week issued an\FAQ to solve potential problems, including system freezes, inability for GPS to receive location information, and lack of hardware power to turn on the handheld.

The PS Vita will be sold Feb. 22 in the U.S.

It features dual analog sticks, a 5-inch multi-touch OLED display, 3G & GPS, front and rear touch panels, and a compass on three axes. It will utilize flash-memory game cards.

The Playstation Vita First Edition Bundle will be sold Feb. 15.
