Target Corp. this week price cut Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS to under $150 in a new holiday sale.

Through Dec. 24, customers can purchase the Nintendo 3DS handheld at $149.99, $20 off the $169.99 MSRP.

Nintendo launched the Nintendo 3DS handheld with 18 software titles Mar. 27.

The hardware includes two screens, a 3D Depth Slider, a Circle Pad, a 2GB SD Card and 3-D display technology that does not require the use of special glasses.

New titles for the Nintendo 3DS in Q1 2012 include Capcom Co.’s Resident Evil: Revelations (Feb. 6), Kid Icarus: Uprising (Mar. 23), and Konami Corp.’s Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater (Q1).

Nintendo in Nov. said the Nintendo 3DS has sold nearly 2.5 million units in the U.S.
