Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. this week released the Galaxy Nexus smartphone with Google Inc.’s Ice Cream Sandwich OS to the Verizon Wireless network.
The Galaxy Nexus includes a 1.2Ghz Dual-Core CPU, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display at 1280 x 720 resolution, 1GB RAM, 5MP camera with 1080p video recording, 1.3MP front-facing camera, barometer, and NFC technology.
The hardware is compatible with 4G LTE network for download speeds between 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds between 2 to 5 Mbps.
The smartphone sells at $299.99 with two-year contract.
