Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 ranked as the top-selling game hardware in Nov. U.S. sales.
NPD Group Inc. this week said the Xbox 360 sold 1.7 million units to rank as the No. 1 hardware in Nov to outsell all rival console and handheld products for the month.
The hardware held a 23 percent increase in Nov. sales from one year prior and totaled a 49 percent market share during the month.
Microsoft in Dec. released the new Xbox 360 Dashboard Update which adds new features and functionality to the hardware.
The update includes new features like cloud storage for game saves and Xbox Live profiles, beacons and Facebook sharing, enhanced family settings, integrated Kinect voice and gesture controls, and Bing voice search.
