Sony Corp. this week released a new update to the Playstation Home social division of the Playstation Network.

Playstation Home v1.60 includes a doubled Furniture Placemment Limit, Improved Targeting in Personal Spaces, Reactivating Portable Items and Companions, new Help System, No Timeout for Arcade Games placed as Furniture, and removal of the Community section for the Menu Pad.

In the fall, the division received a redesign that included a Hub to allow users a direct path to free games via a teleporter and Activity Board to engage in quests and community activities.

In addition, new divisions like Action District, Sportswalk, Adventure District, and Pier Park will divide online games include action, sports, adventure, and board games, respectively.

Playstation Home has been used by more than 23 million users worldwide.

The online social network launched in Dec. 2008 to allow Playstation Network users to socialize with custom avatars, personal spaces and virtual online game facilities.
