Capcom Co. this week said it will release World Gone Sour to Sony Corp.’s Playstation Network division of the Playstation 3, Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox Live division of the Xbox 360 and the PC.

The new action adventure title is based on the Sour Patch Kids brand of candy in which users must guide a lost piece of candy to a human stomach.

The title is said to include platform and puzzle-solving amid candy enemies like an angry stick of chewing gum.

The final game will include local co-op play.

World Gone Sour will be sold for PC this winter at $4.99 and in the spring for PSN at $4.99 and Xbox Live at 400 Microsoft Points.
