AT&T Inc. this month released HTC Corp.’s HTC Titan to U.S. customers at $199.99 after two-year contract.
The HTC Titan includes a 1.5Ghz CPU, 4.7-inch 480 x 800 display, 8MP camera with 720p video recording and dual-LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 512MB RAM, 16GB storage, 4G functionality, and Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Phone 7 Mango OS.
AT&T in Nov. released two new 4G LTE devices to U.S. retail.
4G LTE smartphones include HTC Corp.’s HTC Vivid and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.
4G LTE service launched Nov. 6 in Boston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Athens, Ga. It plans to reach 15 markets and 70 million Americans by the end of 2011.
AT&T Oct. 14 began sale of Apple Inc.’s iPhone 4S.
It currently holds 96 million subscribers in the U.S.
