Target Corp. this week price cut Nintendo Co.’s Nintendo 3DS handheld to $145 in a new sale.

This week, the Nintendo 3DS handheld carries a sale price of $145, $25 off the $169.99 MSRP.

The retailer touts the sale price as the ‘lowest price ever’ for the device.

The Nintendo 3DS, released in Mar. 2011, includes glasses-free 3D technology.

Nintendo price cut the device to $169.99 from $249.99 due to slow sales.

Nintendo in Nov. said the Nintendo 3DS has sold 1.65 million units in the U.S.

Holiday titles include Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7.
