This week, Super Mario 3D Land ranked as the No. 7 best-selling product in Amazon’s Video Games division.
Super Mario 3D Land, which began sale Nov. 17, is a brand new adventure that includes new 3D levels.
New power-ups include the Boomerang Flower to allow Mario to throw boomerangs. In addition, when a player looses too many lives in a row an invincible White Tanooki Mario or P-Wing can allow users to pass a level without enemy interference.
New enemies include Goombas with tails and Piranha Plants that can spit ink and block the player’s view.
Nintendo in Nov. said the Nintendo 3DS has sold 1.65 million units in the U.S.
It price cut the handheld to $169.99 in Aug.
